The best way to experience the Digital Ally Open is to get involved. You can volunteer to be a marshal, walking scorer, parking coordinator or standard bearer, just to name a few options.
Benefits of volunteering
- With the $40 volunteer package, volunteers will receive the official uniform required by the PGA TOUR (a Digital Ally Open polo shirt and hat/visor – a $60 value)
- Volunteer badge for weekly access into the tournament plus extra weekly grounds pass for family/friend ($50 value)
- Meals provided during shifts worked (breakfast and/or lunch)
- Free parking and shuttle ride
- Opportunity to play Nicklaus Golf Club at LionsGate on Monday, July 31st (tee times available on a first come, first serve basis; must work at least 3 (three) 4 hour shifts to be eligible)
Hundreds of volunteers are needed for the 2017 Digital Ally Open! Listed below are brief descriptions of the various volunteer committees available prior to and during the tournament.

Clubhouse Management – check credentials of players, staff and volunteers entering the clubhouse (Wednesday- Sunday)
Driving Range – coordinate all driving activities (Monday- Sunday)
Front gate admissions – sell and issue daily tickets, manage Will Call, check tickets/credentials and offer directional assistance, as needed, to arriving spectators. (Thursday- Sunday)
Marshals – responsibilities include maintaining control over the gallery and cross walks, ball spotting, rope and gate maintenance for every hole during tournament. (Wednesday-Sunday)
On Course Hospitality – set up, clean up and distribution of product, as needed, of corporate skyboxes, open air chalets and Par Tee Club. Must be 21 years old. (Thursday-Sunday)
On Course Services – stock all tee boxes with water and ice; ecology (Monday – Sunday)
Parking Coordinator – responsible for traffic flow in and out of Nicklaus Golf Club parking lot and designated spectator parking lots (Wednesday – Sunday)
Pro-Am – duties may include registration of amateur players, player bag drop, concept shop, assistance with awards ceremony and team pictures. (Monday & Wednesday)
Product Distribution – stock and deliver on course beverages to corporate skyboxes, chalets, 18th green Pavilion, Par Tee Club and all tournament events. *Might require heavy lifting (Monday-Sunday)
Scoring Central – coordinate scoring between scoring tent and PGA Tour operations (Wednesday-Sunday)
Special Events – assist with events during tournament week which include 5K, family night, women’s luncheon, Young Professionals event, Chamber after hours, On the Green party, Military/First Responder family day. Duties might include hanging banners, event set up, checking credentials and clean up. (Saturday-Sunday)
Standard Bearer – responsible for carrying a 2-sided scoring standard for an entire round of golf (approximately 5 hours). We recommend you be in good physical health when volunteering for this position. (Thursday-Sunday)
Transportation – drive shuttle vehicles between designated parking lots and the course. Must be at least 25 years of age with a valid driver’s license. (Wednesday-Sunday)
Volunteer Central/Information Center – responsible for general operation of Volunteer headquarters during tournament week; assist with check in of volunteers for shifts. (Monday-Sunday)
Walking Scorer – record accurate hole by hole information for each player in group via a handheld device. Must have a thorough knowledge of golf and be able to walk 18 holes, regardless of weather conditions. You must attend a training session in order to score.
